Avis car hire's special competition for the World Cup

With the World Cup about to kick off in South Africa it should come as no surprise that our attention isn't on Edinburgh car rental but providing last minute travellers to South Africa with car hire to suit their needs.

Avis, one of the worlds largest car rental companies, is also focused on the World Cup and has a special competition for football crazy fans with the prize being one week of free European car hire.

The competition takes the form of an online tournament featuring football and sports related questions. Those who enter the competition will be asked to pick their favourite football team and will be asked a series of questions, winning players will continue to advance in the tournament until they reach the final.

Avis' Head of Marketing, Nick Mountfield, said: "With all eyes on South Africa this summer, we wanted to create a fun and interactive game that everyone can get involved in.
