Heading to T in the Park? Why not rent a car?

If you're planning to go to T in the Park this year and are deciding on travel options, don't rule out a rental car from Edinburgh as being an expensive option.

There are various options available to revellers who are making their way to Kinross on the 9th - 11th July this year to see the likes of Jay Z, Eminem, Florence and the Machine, Vampire Weekend and the Black Eyed Peas perform.

You could travel by bus with a return ticket costing £22 from St Andrews Square in Edinburgh but if like the majority of partygoers you're going to T in the Park with friends, you may want to consider renting a car and driving up to Kinross.

You can search for car rental in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, the Borders - infact over 17,000 locations worldwide and with prices as low as £8 per day it could work out cheaper than taking the bus.

If you do consider hiring a car, make sure you've booked a parking space in advance through the ticketmaster website.
